ASEANAPOL presents 6P anti-scam framework at inaugural IICA forum in Incheon

At the 1st Annual Forum of the International Investigative Cooperation Alliance in Incheon, the ASEANAPOL Secretariat moderated a session on Anti-Scam Centres and presented its regional response to transnational scam crime. The segment covers what ASEANAPOL put on the table, who else was in the room, and what the shared operational message means for institutions exposed to cross-border fraud flows.

  • ASEANAPOL presented its 6P Framework covering Policy, People, Platform, Procedure, Partners and Progress at the IICA Forum on 22 October 2026 in Incheon.
  • Three regional initiatives were highlighted: ASCOT, Study Visits to Anti-Scam Centres in Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore, and the eADSAI AI-enabled database system under development.
  • The Singapore Police Force emphasised the role of Anti-Scam Centres in rapidly freezing and recovering victims' funds.
  • UNODC, KNPA and INTERPOL each stressed international cooperation, multi-agency coordination and cross-border information sharing to counter transnational scam networks.
